Pumpkin Hill Studios Ebay store closing- also Yard sale info & Ebay auctions now

I regret to say that on May 31st I will be closing the ebay store Pumpkin Hill Studios . I am still doing auctions, in fact, all store stock has had prices lowered and been moved over to Ebay auctions now.I currently have miniature carpets in small and large for $5 and$9 with free shipping, Bespaq 1:4 armoire for $70, and other items with prices lowered as well. Please keep in mind that the miniature carpets listed are ONLY listed for 3 days, then they will be at the yard sale.

My reasons for closing the ebay store are many...and they are a long time in coming. I cannot continue to sell regularly on a site that so blatantly punishes its sellers who are hardworking. Ebay does not seem to understand that they are successful because of sellers like myself. Their new standards are the final straw in a long list of problems I have with them. I will still do auctions occasionally, so please keep me bookmarked, but will no longer have an ebay store. I intend to start selling on weekends to the general public at a variety of venues such as the indoor/outdoor flea markets, craigslist and my website. My items appear to move much quicker this way and I will probably begin to move the curios this way as well. 

For those of you interested in bargains, I & my husband will be having yard sales throughout the summer clearing out store stock and other items from my mother's estate. We had an incredible yard sale last weekend on Saturday the 24th and sold alot of the overstock of dollhouse building components and I still have more!

We had alot of household items and to this this week we are adding Golf clubs, tall, left handed, as well as kitchen items and men's and women's clothing - fill a large bag for $5 or 2 clothing items for $1 . Shoes are 2 for a dollar as well. The lamps pictured will be out there too and they are $5 apiece $10 for the pair, they are working lamps.

I am currently having a Memorial day sale in my Ebay store Pumpkin Hill Studios with many items 35%off their retail price. This is a clearance sale and many of the prices are very good. The sale lasts from May 21st thru May 26th on Memorial day. 

I have many items, such as some more curios and large scale Bespaq, on Ebay Auction as well, check them out.

NEWS: I will be closing down my Ebay store by the end of the month. There are many reasons for this, but one, is mainly to do with Ebay and its policies, not my customers. I will still be doing Ebay auction under my user id pumpkinhillstudios.  One problem is that many people do not realize I work in my husband's business as well, which has to coordinate with my schedule. Taking photos, writing listings, working on the website, takes a huge amount of time that I would rather be spending on other projects I have long wanted to do, not only artistically but in other venues as well. 

King William Miniatures & Collectibles website will also be closing, I just have not worked out when. 

As far as still operating as a business, yes, I will as I would like to occasionally do shows, so we won't totally be disappearing. There are some custom projects I want to work on, and right now I want to step back from the retail end a bit more.

I have been clearing out my book and magazine collection as it has over taken space ! I have new sub-catagories in my Ebay store with non-fiction, fiction, children's, history, craft/hobby and so on as well as the dollhouse miniature magazine. Most of the miniature magazines like Dollhouse Miniatures, American Miniaturist, Miniature Collector are back issues and run 1.99 plus shipping first class. Books I give free shipping via media mail, parcel post or first class, whatever is cheapest cost for me. I am attempting to keep prices low with free shipping as I feel these books are from my own collection and I am honest if there are any rubs, stains, etc - usually there aren't as I take very good care of my books.

I have listed some more damaged Bespaq items on our Ebay Auctions 2 of these are large mahogany curio cabinets, as well as a 1:3 scale walnut swan vanity, damaged.

 Mirror has come out of frame, mirror frame is very damaged, one leg is off of the vanity and there is a split int he wood on the back.

Miniature 1:12 scale glass greenhouse on eBay

I have just listed a small 1:12 scale glass greenhouse structure from my personal collection on Ebay with a low starting bid of 9.99 . This item I purchased years ago in a nursery or plant store in Fredericksburg on a whim to display my miniature statues and wicker with real tiny herbal plants, on my deck. For a few years it was used inside as well to display a miniature Christmas scene, but has mostly sat on the shelf. I have decided to part with it so get it while it is listed! Here are some photos of it. I believe it was originally intended to force small plants as it looks like it is a hothouse type of thing, I had to be careful what I displayed in it with the plants, since it accepted water and moisture. Usually I put only my statues in there.

Bespaq large curio cabinets on eBay auctions...

I have just listed a couple of intact Bespaq large curio cabinets- one in walnut, one in mahogany on my Ebay Auctions  The walnut curio is on auction for three days ending 8/23, and the Mahogany curio is on auction ending 8/25. Both have low starting bids of 9.99

Keep in mind I do not combine curio cabinets because of their size, weight and fragility. Shipping is high because of how much packaging material they require with bubble, paper and peanuts. I purchase special boxes not found ones or used boxes, to ship my curios in.

Both are intact except for loose panel glass and veneer stripping that holds the door glass in place, one has a crack on the back, the mahogany one has the wood frame seperating on the back from the frame. Both measure 19 1/2 inches high 12 inches wide and 5 inches deep. All glass shelves, glass panels and mirror backs are intact.

If you are looking for simply parts, such as the glass panels, mirror backs, or other pieces, I have a whole pile of pieces from curios that are too damaged to list since they are simply in pieces and have come apart, not necessarily broken but the glue has dried and the wood pieces are unadhered. You can Email me and describe what pieces you are looking for- usually the large curios are big enough if you simply want something that will work for either a 1:6, 1:4 scale or 1:3 scale diorama.
