More of what's to come.....

Some pictures of the beginning items that will be in stock in the store....I have received in the large Louis XV Embroidered armchair- which measures 13 inches tall.....

The decor is coming along- we have a crown motif on top of our display cases and for the counter that is lovely- and goes with the business name, King William Miniatures and the 'royal' treatment we plan to treat our customers with!

Lots of news: Our GRAND OPENING is being planned for April 3rd, 2009 with our Ribbon cutting ceremony between 10 am to 10:30 am, the ceremony is being hosted in conjunction with the Retail Merchants Association, of which we are members.

The artisan dollhouse, which measures four feet long, is an actual replica of Mt. Vernon in 1:12 scale and is one of our flagship pieces- that promotes our shop as a Virginia shop- what is more Virginia than Mt. Vernon & George Washington?

Our first 'official' day of opening will be April 1, 2009 and we will open at the regular hours- 10 am to 5 pm.
If you are a member of a doll club or a miniature club, we are attempting to plan a very special opening day for doll & miniature clubs- March 28, 2009 Saturday. I am hoping most of the rest of the stock will be in and the rest of the displays will be in place before then.
Another feature of our shop I am planning is miniature workshops. If you are a miniature artisan, and would like to schedule a class at our shop , please contact me as I am planning the workshop schedule now for 2009, and also for 2010. You may contact me via pumpkinhillstudios@msn.com .
Stay tuned for more news on our large scale Bespaq- which we are expecting in in one week!!
